REVIEW: g-raps

I was recently introduced to an AWESOME company, g-raps, as part of a Michigan Giveaway I had entered. Their product was very intriguing, so even though I didn't win (what a bummer), I still reached out to the owner, Tyler, to see about testing out some of them.

g-raps offers an idea that I have never seen before – a way to personalize your glasses! g-raps turn any sunglasses or eyeglasses into your favorite brand, team or cause!

As you can see from their "About Us" blurb, they are from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Get it?! Their product ‘wraps your glasses’, they are from Grand Rapids – the name g-raps just MAKES SENSE! Not to mention, the raps are CREATED, DEVELOPED, & MADE IN THE USA! ANOTHER BIG PLUS!

And one of the FABULOUS things this company is doing is working with CAUSES! If you order a pair of the pink Believe g-raps, 15% of the proceeds go to local breast cancer organizations [REMEMBER, OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH – PICK UP A PAIR TODAY TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!]. They are coming out with more designs such as a purple for Pancreatic Cancer, Orange for Leukemia cancer, White for Lung Cancer, and customizable ones for charity events such as Relay for Life.

They have QUITE A FEW AMAZING DESIGNS, but I think my FAVORITES are: Great Lakes Proud (I mean, DUH, have you see my blog?! I LOVE MICHIGAN) [And if you order a pair of the Great Lakes Proud design, they give at least 15% back to Great Lakes projects!], Love, and Run.

Another great thing (okay, okay, I know I keep coming up with more GREAT THINGS, but they are PRETTY AWESOME!) about g-raps is that they LOVE hearing from customers. They are always willing to hear new design ideas. Reach out to them, send them some concepts, and shoot, maybe they will even begin producing them!

Not only are the designs SUPER fun, but they are a great product to get kids excited about wearing eye and sunglasses. g-raps sent me a couple designs that I thought would be ideal for some of our friends that have kids – Miss K wears eyeglasses and loves girlie things, so the Butterfly g-raps were perfect for her.

I have a friend that lives outside of Grand Rapids and she will actually be running her SECOND MARATHON this upcoming weekend IN GRAND RAPIDS – the Grand Rapids Marathon! Now, shhhhhhh, don’t tell her, since she probably hasn’t received the package yet, but I sent her a pair of the 26.2 Marathon g-raps – I MEAN TALK ABOUT PERFECT, RIGHT?! Created where she will be running her next full AND showing off her accomplishment!
