Sunday, September 8th – Easy pace 4.25 miles with hubby, Foam Rolled & Stretched
Monday, September 9th – Rest day, Foam Rolled & Stretched
Tuesday, September 10th – Rest day, Foam Rolled & Stretched
Wednesday, September 11th – Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs), Foam Rolled & Stretched
Thursday, September 12th – Elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched
Saturday, September 14th – Rest day, Foam Rolled & Stretched
We will just consider this past week a REST WEEK. I don't think I have taken three rest days in the same week since I started running/ working out about a year and a half ago! I know, I know, my body probably needed it - but I can't help but feel in the back of my mind that I am a slacker. My body has been pretty sore lately, and since I don't have any races for a while, I figured now would be the best time to take a few extra days if I need them to keep me injury-free.
I am planning on getting back into my 'normal' route again next week (except I think a few days will be switched around because I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow afternoon and won't be able to make it to the gym).
Listening to my body... I am still trying to learn that one...
