Sunday, October 8th – Chicago Marathon
Monday, October 9th – Explored Chicago (walked 22+ miles), Stretched & Foam Rolled
Tuesday, October 10th – Rest Day, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Wednesday, October 11th – 60 minutes on the stationary bike, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Thursday, October 12th – Rise Up Run for Las Vegas
Friday, October 13th – 60 minutes on the stationary bike, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Saturday, October 14th – Rest Day, Stretched & Foam Rolled
After the Chicago Marathon, I decided I should take a little time off from running. I kept my legs loose this week with a lot of walking and biking (plus all the Epsom salt baths and foam rolling I could handle). Although I don't have any more goal races this year, I do have quite a few races coming up quickly (RnRLV 5K and Half, San Diego Holiday Half, PHX Marathon, etc) so after I am completely rested (another week of taking it easy) I'll be sure to get back on the horse.
