Promised Land on iTunes!

When Ryan moved out to California he lived with two awesome brothers – Tyler and Todd. Todd has been working with Walking on Water and their missions programs for as long as I have known him. He has a huge heart for Israel. He was given the opportunity to make a film, Promised Land.

Israel is a country that is loved, hated, and often misunderstood by much of the world. Who really belongs there? Why is Jerusalem so important? Why do some believe in a messiah who will put things right? Amidst this seemingly endless battle over land and religion, surfing has emerged as an escape from the controversy. Promised Land is a unique look at this ancient place through the lives of two friends from different faiths, brought together by their love of the oceans that separate them.

Ryan and I were lucky enough to be able to see the film at the US Premier a while back. It is an AMAZING film! If you haven’t seen it yet, I would STRONGLY urge to you. AND LUCK FOR YOU – IT WAS JUST MADE AVAILABLE ON iTUNES!!

Promised Land is now being distributed by digital entertainment curator FilmBuff and it is now on iTunes and all other leading Video On Demand portals! This means people can rent or buy the movie and instantly play it on their computer and other devices.

Promised Land is also on the following Video On Demand portals: Amazon Instant Video, BlinkBox, Vudu, Playstation, YouTube, and XBOX.

Surfline.com, the number one online resource for surfers, has posted an article on the making of Promised Land. You can view the article by clicking here.

Also, for any of you that would like to go through the Bible Study Guide that goes along with the film, it is available here. Ryan and I are going to go through it after we finish our plan to read through the Bible in a year (which we finish up in September - how crazy!).

Walking on Water is a great organization, Todd, along with his lovely wife, Renae, and baby boy, Benjamin, are amazing people, and Jesus is MIGHTY TO SAVE
