Workout Recap - Week 29


Sunday, July 14th – 3.5 miles with hubby, Foam Rolled & Stretched


Monday, July 15th – Elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Tuesday, July 16th – 45 minute pool workout with hubby, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Wednesday, July 17th – Elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Thursday, July 18th –  Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs), Foam Rolled & Stretched

Friday, July 19th – 3.1 miles after work


Saturday, July 20th – Rest day

Didn't log that many miles on the pavement this week, but there are a couple reasons for that. First, I just ran a half marathon last weekend. Second, Ryan and I had an 11-miler that we needed to get in this morning (so I didn't want to do a long run on Friday before another long run on Sunday, even if Sunday's run is an easier pace). Third, life got in the way (went over to a friend's house that just had a baby one day after work, met up with friends for a concert-in-the-park that I had to rush to get to, etc). 

I'm hoping to get some good workouts in this week, especially because next week we will be out of town (we will be volunteering at a High School Camp up in Central California from Saturday to Saturday). It is going to be interesting fitting my workouts in (I am planning on probably doing them around 5am before the heat of the day kicks in), but I am determined to do them. It will also be extra interesting because currently most of my week is cross training - i.e. elliptical, bike, pool, strength training, etc - because I KNOW my IT band doesn't do well pounding the pavement every day - and when we are at camp I would assume trail running will be the majority of the workouts (maybe throw a little tubing or mountain biking in there with the kids, but I doubt it will be my main workout). It'll be interesting to see Workout Recap - Week 31 :). Stay Tuned!!
