Workout Recap - Weeks 8 & 9

It has been a CRAZY couple of weeks. There was a whirlwind trip to Orlando thrown in there, not to mention doing two people's jobs at work and having it be the end of the month (which always brings in the craziness). I have still been tracking my workouts, just wasn't at a computer last week to be able to post Week 8 - so this post will be a combo of Week 8 and Week 9.

Week 8

Sunday, February 17 - Easy 3.1 miles with hubby, foam rolled and stretched




Monday, February 18 - Short intervals on elliptical for 60 minutes, foam rolled and stretched

Tuesday, February 19 - Strength training, foam rolled and stretched

Wednesday, February 20 - Long intervals on elliptical for 60 minutes, foam rolled and stretched

Thursday, February 21 - Elliptical for 60 minutes, foam rolled and stretched

Friday, February 22 - Rest day (travel to Orlando), foam rolled and stretched

Saturday, February 23 - Disney Royal Family 5K, foam rolled and stretched





Week 9

Sunday, February 24 - Disney Princess Half Marathon [recap to come soon], foam rolled and stretched



Monday, February 18 - Walked WDW parks, foam rolled and stretched



Tuesday, February 19 - Rest day (travel back to San Diego), foam rolled and stretched

Wednesday, February 20 - Elliptical for 60 minutes, foam rolled and stretched

Thursday, February 21 - Rest day

Friday, February 22 - Easy 6 miles, foam rolled and stretched



Saturday, February 23 - 22 mile bike ride, foam rolled and stretched


I am starting to add a few more races to my 2013 calendar, so it doesn't look like the training will drop off any time soon. Right now I have a 15K in a couple weeks, an obstacle course 5K and standard 10K in May, a half marathon in June, a 10K in August, and a half marathon in September. Ryan and I have talked about adding Yoga into our training regime, so I am excited to try out something new soon!
