Workout Recap - Week 11


I was really planning on getting a speed workout in on Wednesday of this week. My body (and cramps) had another idea, so I just decided to do the elliptical workout as hard and fast as I could - which means LOTS of sweat!

I have a 15K this upcoming weekend, which I am excited about. I have never done that distance in a race before, so I am interested to see how it goes. Also, I am hoping that I can stick with a fast pace (one that would give me a sub-2 hour half marathon) and see how I feel. 

Sunday, March 10th - Easy 4 miles with the hubbyFoam Rolled & Stretched


Monday, March 11th - Short intervals on the elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Tuesday, March 12th Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs), Foam Rolled & Stretched

Wednesday, March 13th Elliptical for 60 minutes

Thursday, March 14th - Rest Day

Friday, March 15th - 6 miles



Saturday, March 16th - 13.5 mile bike ride over to a friends house (seemed like it was UPHILL at least 10 out of the 13 miles) and then did housework all day (getting them ready for an adoption home study - whooo hoo)



As you can see, my stretching and foam rolling really dropped off at the end of the week. I REALLY need to get back into that (I have just felt so lethargic once I sit down after the full day that even reaching down to touch my toes feels like too much work). Planning a 4 miler with Ry today (once he wakes up that is) - and LOTS of stretching (since my body is uber sore from this week).
