Coconut Matter Natural Deodorant
I was contacted by Coconut Matter a few weeks ago, asking if I wanted to give their all natural, biodegradable deodorant a try. I am always down to give a new product a chance, so they sent me two tubes. Coconut Matter’s natural deodorant sticks come in zero-waste biodegradable packaging. The eco friendly paper tubes are rolled by hand using cardboard lined with food-grade wax paper on the inside and biodegradable laminate on the outside. They sort of remind me of the Push-Up ice cream treats from back in the day (are those still even around?!). They are Hypoallergenic, Cruelty-free, Vegan, No Aluminum, No Baking Soda, No Parabens, No Silicone, No Phthalates, No Toxins, No Fragrance, No Alcohol, No Plastic. I received both Spring and Bliss (and I think I prefer the scent of Bliss more). I've tried both and have been using them for a couple weeks now. I think they are great. The smell reminds me of essential oils. This particular coconut oil natural deodorant does three things, fast. Stops body odor, improve underarm's skin health (not many do that!) and gives you a blow of purification. A bliss of zero residues, zero stickiness and zero stains. The only negative I have is the product ships from Hong Kong, which makes the carbon footprint of delivery not great (although they do ship with their local postal service, which only uses cargo space in passenger aircrafts)... But I love the fact that it's zero waste, handmade, vegan and cruelty-free, sustainable and fair trade. They also have lip balms, soap scrubs and more.

#DontFeedTheLandfills {REI x Subaru}
The hubby and I went into our local REI this past weekend because I had to exchange something I had ordered (needed a smaller size) and I saw this amazing campaign near the door. In partnership with Subaru and TerraCycle, you can now recycle snack wrappers at all REI stores. Recycled wrappers will then be turned into beneficial items like picnic tables and playground equipment. How awesome is that?! Now to figure out where to store our snack wrappers between visits.

Spreading Christmas Cheer
We didn't mail bulk Christmas cards this year, but we did get a few cards from Habitat for Humanity as a thanks for being donors. With that said, I wasn't sure who we should send them to until I ran across a few articles asking for the public to join in and spread a little Christmas cheer. Luke Jr. is a Michigan fan who needs his spirits lifted and his mom was asking for friends to send him a Christmas card or two - DONE! And then I came across Gene, with terminal cancer, who was asking for folks to send him a card for the holiday season - DONE! If you have a blank card or two in the house, it'd be awesome if you'd join me and send these guys a little extra cheer! A small gesture can have a HUGE impact!

Sarah Marie Design Studio New Releases
I feel like it's been a hot minute since I've shared any SMDS new releases, but have no fear, they're here (and I'm loving them). She has a design that's PERFECT for the upcoming runDisney Marathon Week, one that'd be AMAZING for all the strong females out there and one that's a MUST for you and your girl gang (amongst all the other amazingness of course)! And if you wanna save some dough (because who doesn't?!) and need a coupon code, "SMDS-MCDOT" saves you 15%!
What are you loving lately?
