Sunday, August 25th – Mt Diablo Trail Marathon, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Monday, August 26th – 90 minutes on the stationary bike, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Tuesday, August 27th – 40 minute run, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Wednesday, August 28th – 3 mile warm-up, 6 x 1000m repeats, 3 mile cool-down
Thursday, August 29th – 40 minute run
Friday, August 30th – 40 minute run, Stretched & Foam Rolled
Saturday, August 31st – 45 minute warm-up, {3 repeats} 2 miles at MP, 3 minute jog, cool-down to 2 hours and 20 minutes
This week may not have gone exactly how I wanted (or was expecting), but my two quality speed workouts (6 x 1000m and 3 x 2 mile repeats) were on point so I guess not all is lost. And here's to hoping that when the heat and humidity chill the frick out come fall I will be able to run these paces a little easier... but only time will tell... and Mother Nature ;)
