Immediate Results

Let's be real. Wouldn't it be great if we saw results immediately? [But only in a positive way, DUH!]

I would be much more willing to do my core work every day if I saw a 6-pack appear the following morning. And would be way happier about eating healthy if the extra fat in my body GOT THE HECK OUT (or at least went to the "proper" places in my body) within 24 hours. I can't be the only one who feels this way, right?!

Now, obviously I wouldn't want it to work the other way - like if I ate really crappy or skipped my workouts for a week I wouldn't want to physically be able to tell. I mean, if this is my ideal world, I would have the option to make these types of immediate results be one-sided.

Because, man alive, sometimes it is tough to stick to a plan - whether it is eating healthy, hitting a certain step count, drinking more water, going for a set number of runs a week, etc. Wait, what do THEY say?! "If it was easy, everyone would be doing it." Well, shoot, I would prefer it to be easy and for everyone to be doing it! But I guess until I am the one making the decisions on those sorts of things, we just gotta keep putting in the work - no matter how tough it may be!

Right now I'm wishing to see some sort of definition in my arms.... I gave up on a six pack a long time ago. But If I could pick only one goal, it would be running longer distances.

Ha! Too funny. If it did work the other way - maybe it would be easy to stop wanting cookies - because you would automatically see the effects!
