Workout Recap - Week 23


Sunday, June 2nd – Rock N Roll Half MarathonFoam Rolled & Stretched


Monday, June 3rd – Rest Day  

Tuesday, June 4th – Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs) & Foam Rolled

Wednesday, June 5th – Elliptical for 60 minutes, Foam Rolled & Stretched

Thursday, June 6th – 19.3 mile bike ride (with my mom), Foam Rolled & Stretched


Friday, June 7th – Rest Day & Stretched 

Saturday, June 1st – Color Me Rad 5K, Foam Rolled & Stretched 



I had an extra day of rest in my week last week, which I have to say was nice. I figured I would give my body a little break since it had done well during the Rock N Roll Half at the beginning of the week – not to mention we had a 5K at the end of the week with my mom (although I knew it was more of a fun run, it is still a ‘race’ and I didn’t want to fizzle out for it).

Ryan and I have a triathlon on Saturday, so I will be taking this week a little easy as well (especially because I have NO IDEA what to expect for this since we have never done one before). After this upcoming race I have a couple weeks off before my next race (July 7th), so I am hoping to get back into a groove – and maybe even mix up my work outs a bit. The half marathon on July 7th, I am going into it as a fun run (not trying to PR or anything), but I still think I would like to get some speed workouts in during the next few weeks…
