Mini Vacay

This past weekend we went up to Big Bear. There were four couples. One of the couple's parents own a lake house up there, so we headed up for the long weekend. The husbands took off on Friday around 1pm and the wives met up and hit the road around 4pm or so. It was great to get away (even if it is only a couple hours away), enjoy friends/ food/ football, and make memories. Saturday morning we decided to hike up Castle Rock, which wouldn't have been so comical, but we were definitely NOT prepared (wearing our Ugg boots, slippers, no 'supplies', etc). It was definitely worth it, and a 'team building' experience :). Ry and I took a few pictures, but haven't loaded them on the computer yet.
