I finished Cannery Row last night. It is set up in Monterey, California, which I didn't know until I started reading it. That is exciting because Ryan and I were thinking of doing a road trip up there over Thanksgiving weekend. I know the story isn't a true depiction of the history, but maybe I will be able to picture a little better the setting if I see the town first hand. I can totally understand why it is considered a classic at the library. That means that I have read the two books I got from the library in the last two days, which leads me to go to the library at lunch again today and pick up a couple more. I am not quite sure which books to get, but I guess I could start back in the Classic sections again :)
