Tigers Game

My mom asked me the other day about going to a Tigers game while we are back for the weekend in Michigan. I checked with Ryan and he was down, so she signed us up :) I hear my dad got AWESOME seats with one of his connections, so we are super excited (and Ry has never been to a Tigers game in Detroit [we've been in San Diego and LA together], which should be fun for him). Anyway, last night while we were at dinner we were chatting about the possible promotions at the game. I told him that most Friday night games the promos are the fireworks. He didn't believe me, and we left it at that. This morning, while he is still sleeping, I figured I would look it up. I WAS RIGHT (OF COURSE) and the promo for the 9th is fireworks, but then I looked to see what the next day was and SMILED :) September 10th is STAR WARS NIGHT at the Tigers game. Now I don't like Star Wars, but Ry loves it! Maybe I'll be able to go to the Help Desk and ask them if I could buy one of the cups for Ry, especially since the 10th is my birthday and we came all the way from California (maybe they will have pity on me, hehe).

So I guess if you are looking for something to do on the 10th (OTHER THAN THE MICHIGAN FOOTBALL GAME - OBVIOUSLY) than maybe you should check out Star Wars Night at the Tigers Game :)

Under The Lights

HOW EXCITING! Ryan and I booked flights to go back to Michigan for the Michigan vs. Notre Dame football game. The first game under the new lights at the Michigan Stadium. The first game wearing the legacy jerseys. The game is on my BIRTHDAY (and the date is AWESOME - 09.10.11). It will be quite the exciting day I think. We are flying back just for the weekend, which seems to be about the length of our stays recently. We will be visiting my padres Friday and then heading to Ann Arbor to spend the day with 150,000 plus of our closest friends, hehe. Then we will be flying back on Sunday. I know it will probably feel like we need a vacation from our vacation, but being part of history is worth it, right? :) We were back at the dedication game last year and will be at the first night game this year. I am SURE we will have plenty of pictures to share AND WE BETTER HAVE A WIN - ESPECIALLY SINCE IT IS MY BIRTHDAY!! :)
