Sunday, February 21st – Rest Day
Monday, February 22nd – 10 mile run
Tuesday, February 23rd – 90 minutes on the stationary bike
Wednesday, February 24th – 8 mile run
Thursday, February 25th – 90 minutes on the stationary bike
Friday, February 26th – 6 mile run, 60 minutes on the stationary bike
Saturday, February 27th – 90 minutes on the stationary bike
24 miles of running?! AWWWW YEAH! I'll take it! I'm still running every other day, but I have felt no pain in my Achilles and everything else seems to be doing fine too. Maybe next week I'll add a fourth day of running... or maybe not... On my shorter run days I'm still adding in a little biking, so I get in a decent length workout, but maybe I'll bump up the distance of running rather than adding in an extra running day... We'll see how the body feels (I love the quote I once heard that says "if you listen to your body whisper you won't have to hear it scream"... I didn't listen to the whispers and it SCREAMED stop, so I will do whatever I need to do to prevent that happening again!). Right now I don't have anything on the schedule until October (and who knows if that will actually happen), so I'll take it as slow and steady as I need/ want.
