Workout Recap - Week 53/ Week 1

Sunday, December 27th – 4 mile run with the hubby, 8.25 mile run

Monday, December 28th – 90 minute bike

Tuesday, December 29th – 11.10 mile run

Wednesday, December 30th – 8 mile run 

Thursday, December 31st – 12.31 mile run 

Friday, January 1st – 20.21 mile run 

Saturday, January 2nd – Rest Day {Hiked to Three Sisters Falls with the hubby}

Thursday's run (12.31 miles on 12/31) helped me hit 2,400 miles exactly for 2020 {yep, I'm THAT BIG of a numbers nerd that I had it worked out a few weeks prior to make it happen}. And then I had to start the year off with a 20.21 mile run, right?! I'm hoping the races that were postponed in 2020 will start announcing whether or not they'll be able to happen in 2021, that way I know whether or not I need to legit start training for them or not (like the potential 50K I might have in March). Don't get me wrong, I normally try to stay "marathon trained" (I prefer staying in 'shape' so I could technically run a marathon if one came up at any point), but it'd be nice to know if I needed to start fine tuning my training towards specific events or not. Here's to a HAPPY and HEALTHY new year (and hopefully safely racing once again soon)!
