Monday, April 14th – 8 mile run, 1 minute plank, Foam Rolled & Stretched
Tuesday, April 15th – Strength Training (abs, back, arms and legs), 4.15 memory miles for #BostonStrong, 1 minute plank, Foam Rolled & Stretched
Wednesday, April 16th – 5 mile run with friends, 1 minute plank, Foam Rolled & Stretched
Saturday, April 19th – Rest day, 1 minute plank, Foam Rolled & Stretched
All-in-all I would say it was a pretty successful week. I was able to mix it up a bit and run with some friends (normally I run by myself unless hubby is up for coming along), which was great. I also got in an extra run in remembrance of the bombing that occurred at the Boston Marathon last year.
How crazy is it that it seems like 12 miles isn't a "long" run anymore?! Ryan was asking me Thursday night if I needed to wake up early Friday morning for my run (because then he has to feed the doggy and take him for a walk before he goes to work) and I told, "Nope, it's just a 12-miler." JUST?! When did that happen?! And so goes the CRAZINESS of Marathon Training...
