Yes, there were some games that were a little too close for comfort, but all in all, the teams recorded WINS - so that makes it a successful weekend :)
Sand Sharks (a son of some of our friend's club soccer team) won 5-1 and Brock scored a goal (and even Tebow-ed after it)
Wolverines won 45-0
Tigers went up 2-0 in the ALCS against the Yankees and are now heading back to Detroit
Lions won in overtime (sometimes it seems like we can only play when the game is on the line)
LET'S KEEP IT UP BOYS!!

Frankenweenie
Ryan and I went to see Frankenweenie after church last night. It was super cool! There were many reasons why we knew we would love it. #1 - Disney is awesome. #2 - Tim Burton is awesome. #3 - Stop motion is awesome. And it did not disappoint. We were both saying how cool it was that you didn't miss the color (it is all in black and white), how there was so much work that was put into the film, and how Burton gave homage to many movies from the past.
A few months ago, I had mentioned to Ryan that there was going to be an exhibit for Frankenweenie at Disneyland. While we were waiting in a line this morning for fast passes for Radiator Springs Racers, Ryan looked up more about it. Of course we HAD to go to check it out. Honestly, we could have spent a good hour or two in there, but had to limit ourselves :) Ryan took a ton of pictures (and I took some too, but figured his might be a little better, hehe). They had original sketches, some of the scenes (the kitchen, the attic, and the classroom), and some of the individual characters and props. It was super fun to see, especially since we had just seen it the night before.
I would DEFINITELY recommend seeing the film (and of course checking out the exhibit at California Adventure before it leaves in a couple weeks).

AFSP Walk COMING SOON!
I'm currently at about 50% of my goal... And the San Diego Walk is in just a few days. It would be AWESOME if you would consider donating to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and help me hit my goal for fundraising.
