In one amazing moment, the world will come together to sing about the one thing we all have in common love. People from around the world will sing the legendary hit All You Need is Love in a single voice on December 7, 2009 at 8:30amEST. The global sing-along is part of our continuing efforts to help fight AIDS in Africa. In just one year in partnership with (RED)™, Starbucks has generated money equivalent to more than 7 million days of medicine to help those living with HIV in Africa.

You can watch the event, and lend your own voice, when you visit [StarbucksLoveProject.com]. Watch streaming video from countries around the world and then join in by singing All You Need is Love yourself. For each video submitted, Starbucks will make a contribution to the Global Fund to help fight against AIDS in Africa. Lovely

I just spent the last hour or so writing our Christmas letter, jammin' to Christmas music on iTunes and sitting with the light of the Christmas trees glimmering in the living room (yeah, it starts getting dark around 4:30pm or so and today it was pretty cloudy and grey out so of course the tree was plugged in by about 3:30). I think tomorrow will be addressing the Christmas cards and hopefully have them in the mail by Monday!!

IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS (okay, not here, but some places, like Cheboygan, hehe, and it feels like Christmas in my core :) ).

All season, Florida State's offensive line has made a point to hold its water when defenders come across the line a little early, for reasons I don't quite understand and with occasionally comic results -- against North Carolina, there was more than one case of the entire front five remaining in its statue-like position well after officials blew the whistle on an offsides Tar Heel. The "freeze" is obviously a technique the 'Noles teach to ensure that the flag goes the other way.
