Workout Recap - Week 17

Sunday, April 17th – 75 minutes of hills (walking uphills, jogging downhills)

Monday, April 18th – Rest Day

Tuesday, April 19th – 4 miles of hills (walking uphills, jogging downhills)

[Note - I forgot to take the photo because when I was finishing up {around 6:30am} I got a call from my manager saying "there's someone in the store, can you go over and meet the police?". Now that's NOT the way to start the day!]

Wednesday, April 20th – 120 minutes of walking

Thursday, April 21st –  6 miles of hills (walking uphills, jogging downhills)

[Note - I have no excuse as to why I forgot to take a picture... I don't have one of my watch or the trash I collected...]

Friday, April 22nd – Rest Day

Saturday, April 23rd – Leona Divide 50K

I'm happy to report that I'm starting to incorporate some jogging into my walks. Don't worry, I'm taking it slow, listening to my body (and my PT) and not pushing too hard, but I'm STOKED I'm seeing improvements. This week I was really only jogging downhills (including at the 50K), but, hey, something is better than nothing (and letting gravity assist getting the legs to turn over a bit faster is a great way to start). There might actually be a light at the end of this hamstring tunnel!
