**Remember – donations are tax deductible and also make
GREAT Christmas gifts (a donation in someone’s name or in someone’s honor is an
amazing way to help others this holiday season).**
Ryan and I went down to The Strand on Sunday for an easy pace run. Afterwards we took Walt for a stroll along the beach. He loves climbing on all of the rocks and boulders. He is still a little unsure about the water (and gets pretty nervous when the waves are crashing or even coming towards him).
I think he could be a sea captain, what do you think?

Anyone getting sick of the puppy pictures?! I SURE HOPE NOT, BECAUSE I LOVE WALT WEDNESDAYS!
Abducted at 10 years old by Joseph Kony's rebel army. Held captive for 15 years until he finally escaped. This is the true story of Opondo.
Opondo is just one of the thousands of children who have been abducted and come of age in the LRA. Through donations, we fund programs to help them escape, get rehabilitated, and return home to their families. Thank you for your support and believing everyone deserves the chance to come home.

Saturday, November 16th – Rest day, 120 second Plank (part of the Plank Challenge I am participating in), Foam Rolled & Stretched
Is it just me or do other people DISLIKE their rest day? I think it is mostly due to COMPARISON... I will see others out there running, posting pictures of their races, etc, and I get bummed that I wasn't working out. I know, I know, my body needs the rest, but man it seems like more of a mental game than a physical one sometimes...
The Plank Challenge is getting harder and harder. How is everyone else doing on it?! It seems like I have been able to hit 1:30 fairly easily, but man those extra 30 seconds to 2 minutes is KILLER! I have NO IDEA how I will get to 5 minutes in less than 2 weeks...
As he sits in his production company's headquarters on a chilly Massachusetts day, DJ Steve Porter's thoughts are about 1,200 miles south, at the Walt Disney World Resort. Surrounded by computers, musical instruments, monitors and all sorts of editing equipment, he's putting the finishing touches on his latest remix video, a mashup of magical proportions for Walt Disney World Resort. Take a look (and listen!) and enjoy the video. But a word of whimsical warning: like many songs featured in Disney attractions (yes, I'm thinking about you, "it's a small world"), Porter's "It's Magical" tune just might stick in your head for a little while after you view it.
