Sunday, June 16th – 7.5 mile hike to Mammoth Mountain Summit (with almost 3,000 feet of climbing)
Monday, June 17th – Rest/ Travel Day
Tuesday, June 18th – 60 minutes on the stationary bike
Wednesday, June 19th – 3.5 miles with the hubby
Thursday, June 20th – Rest Day
Friday, June 21st – Rest Day
Saturday, June 22nd – 7 mile run
The hubby officially started training for Hood2Coast (a relay race he will be tackling with folks from work in August... running from Mt. Hood to the Oregon Coast). The training plan he is using is for the half marathon distance. Normally the race is split up into three runs (there are twelve teammates, each running three times, somewhere around the 13 mile distance overall), so we figured if he can do the 13.1 miles at once he can run it split up over three separate runs over 48 hours. That being said, I've started doing a couple of the runs with him, which I always enjoy (even if the pace is slower than I'd normally do on my own). Here's to getting him (and me in the process ;)) back in half marathon distance shape.
