Monday, August 7th – 60 minutes on the stationary bike
Tuesday, August 8th – 4 mile run
Wednesday, August 9th – 8 mile run
Thursday, August 10th – 4 mile run
Friday, August 11th – Rest Day
Saturday, August 12th – 8 mile run
If you remember last week, you know I was in Palm Desert for a girls weekend. Well, the temps there are toasty (even if it's a dry heat) so I decided to hit the gym treadmill for my 10-miler on Sunday. I hadn't run on a treadmill since we were in Hawaii last fall. I went by the mileage on the treadmill (which shuts off after 60 minutes...) but I really don't know how accurate it is - who cares though?! I'm also appreciative that our girls trip lined up with a cutback week so I "only" had 10 miles for my long run ;) My other runs/ workouts during the week went off without a hitch, although the humidity has been through the roof (and has actually been raining a bit because the air is just so saturated) so I've been dripping sweat within the first half mile or so. Proud of where I'm at and trying to focus on the mile I'm in rather than where my paces and mileage have been in the past... "Comparison is the thief of joy" (even if you're just comparing yourself to you!).
