Sunday, October 2nd – 9 mile run
Monday, October 3rd – 90 minutes on the stationary bike
Tuesday, October 4th – 4 miles of hill repeats
Wednesday, October 5th – 9 mile run
Thursday, October 6th – 4 mile progression run
Friday, October 7th – Rest Day
Saturday, October 8th – 20 mile run
Some runs you win and some runs you don't... This week seemed to run the gamut... My midweek runs felt strong and fast, but then my long run this weekend was TERRIBLE. I knew when I started that my body was overly fatigued but I had to work on Sunday so I knew I had to get it done Saturday. After a week of 45+ hours at the store, the hubby being gone for 4 days on a photo shoot (so me having to handle all house stuff/ dog stuff/ etc on my own) and then getting groceries for the hubby's camping trip he was leaving for yesterday morning, to say my body was stressed and tired would be an understatement - not to mention the high humidity, warmer temps and starting my period. I knew from the jump it wouldn't be pretty... and it wasn't... I had a decently strong first 10 miles, but by mile 13 I was feeling nauseous and had to walk the last 7 miles back to the car. At least it's done (and here's to hoping I got the "bad" out of my system before my races).
