Let me tell you, having Thursday, Friday and Saturday off made ALL THE DIFFERENCE with training (I had worked 10 days in a row, so my middle weekend ended up getting put together with my next one). It is OBVIOUSLY easier to be able to get in a run or bike ride when you have all day to do them. With that being said, I may have to rethink training for Detroit. Maybe I will break up longer runs to do some before work and some on my lunch. I'm just not sure that it is sustainable to do all of my workouts when needing to wake up at 3-4am before going to work on my feet for all day. PS This upcoming Monday kicks off my official training for the Detroit Marathon in October - WHOOO HOOO! We got this!
How were your workouts this past week?
