#RealTalk - this was more activity than the previous couple weeks, but still not as much as I would have liked. Sunday was my first run and I was stoked. Don't get me wrong, I had to take some walk breaks, my legs felt heavy and my ribs didn't feel 100% healed, but I was jogging! Monday I was planning to wake up and bike, but my quads were actually pretty sore, so I took a rest day. Tuesday I biked and then I planned to wake up and run Wednesday morning but it was raining so I took the easy way out and slept for a bit longer. Thursday I was scheduled to donate blood so they normally tell me not to workout that morning and then take it easy for the rest of the day - which meant another rest day. Friday I was able to get out for a neighborhood run that felt better than Sunday (I did take a few walk breaks, but they were mostly on the uphill sections of the route). Saturday was another rest day, more because I had to cover a coworker's shift at work and had a friend in town. All-in-all it wasn't an amazing "week back", but it wasn't a complete loss either. BABY STEPS!
How were your workouts this past week?
