Ryan and I are streaming The Big Chill on Fox Sports Detroit. We have been grabbing a few snapshots of the screen. Ryan's family is at the game. We wish we were there, but also enjoy watching it in the 77 degree weather here on our couch :)

Christmas Party #2

Tonight Ryan and I went to my Christmas party. It was quite different than Ryan's last night, but quite interesting nonetheless. We had Panda Express, an open bar, a ballon animal maker, a fire eater, a face painter, casino tables, sumo wrestling, and scantily-clad women feeding everyone drinks. And it only took us 4 pictures to get a nice shot before the party tonight :)








Not as corporate, but definitely entertaining :)

Christmas Party #1

Last night we went to Ryan's office Christmas Party. It was great finally getting to put a face to all the names I am hearing. The food was scrumptious. It was at a little (well, little when you cram 100 people inside of it) restaurant in Leucadia called Le Papagayo. We stayed a little late (especially since I have a full day of work today and my office Christmas Party tonight), but we enjoyed ourselves.

We tried to take a nice picture by the tree before we left, but this is all we could get (probably after a good 20 minutes trying too...

Robinson Wins Chicago Tribune Silver Football as Big Ten MVP

The Chicago Tribune announced Friday morning (Dec. 10) that University of Michigan sophomore quarterback Denard Robinson (Deerfield Beach, Fla./Deerfield Beach HS) has been named the recipient of the Silver Football as the Big Ten's Most Valuable Player. The award is voted upon by the conference's 11 head coaches. Robinson was a finalist along with Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor and Purdue defensive end Ryan Kerrigan.

This is the second straight year that a Wolverine has claimed the Chicago Tribune's Silver Football Award; Brandon Graham shared the honor with Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark last season. The Chicago Tribune Silver Football has been presented to the best player in the Big Ten annually since 1924.

Robinson led the league's top-rated and most balanced offense, a unit that averaged 251.2 yards per contest on the ground and 249.8 yards through the air. The Wolverines racked up a school record 6,011 yards of total offense on the season. Robinson led the Big Ten in total offense (329.9 yards per game) and rushing (136.9).

He was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year by the conference coaches and the media and earned All-Big Ten first team accolades from the media. Robinson set the NCAA record for rushing yards by a quarterback (1,643) and became the first player in NCAA history to both rush and pass for 1,500 yards in a season. He holds the Michigan season record with 3,959 total offensive yards and has accounted for 30 touchdowns (14 rushing, 16 passing).

Every morning I wake up about 30 minutes earlier than I need to so that I can check my blogs, Facebook, banking, etc. This morning while I was waiting for one of my blogs to load I clicked on the Christmas Countdown that I have on the address bar. I noticed that it was about a minute away from something cool.... 17 days, 17 hours, 17 minutes, and 17 seconds till Christmas! How awesome! I tried to snap a picture of it, but I was too early (by 2 seconds) and by the time the screen came back up it was down to 16 seconds.



I guess I will have to wait till next year to try and get another picture, but still PRETTY COOL! Especially since I didn't know where we were at in the countdown :)
