Workout Recap - Week 41

Sunday, October 4th – 15.51 mile run (in honor of my favorite 15 year old's birthday)

Monday, October 5th – 7.37 mile run

Tuesday, October 6th – 10.10 mile run

Wednesday, October 7th – 8.48 mile run

Thursday, October 8th – Rest Day

Friday, October 9th – Rest Day

Saturday, October 10th – 7.77 mile run  (the hubby joined me for the first 1.5 miles)

Like I mentioned last week, the hubby, pup and I went up to Mammoth on Wednesday (through Sunday). I didn't take a rest day last week and front loaded my week this week so that I wouldn't have to worry about fitting in runs while we were gone (my plan was 'if they happen, they happen'). Still pretty stoked I was able to get in just under 50 miles with two rest days. The runs at the beginning of this week were tough because we were still in the thick of another heat wave (Sunday it was 103, Monday it was 100, Tuesday it was 97 and Wednesday it finally cooled down to 92, HA!), but I surprisingly felt strong. My run up in Mammoth had pretty perfect temps, but running at elevation is never easy. All-in-all, a great week of running and now I am going to start putting together a training plan for the marathon in January I am still pondering.

How were your workouts this past week?
