Workout Recap - Week 16

Sunday, April 12th  10 mile solo run, 2 mile run with the hubby

Monday, April 13th – Rest day

Tuesday, April 14th – 5.05 mile run

Wednesday, April 15th – 5.2 miles of hill repeats

Thursday, April 16th – 6 mile run

Friday, April 17th  Rest day

Saturday, April 18th – 7 mile run 

Sunday's run was one of the strongest runs I've had in quite some time. The overcast skies and light rain definitely helped. I felt like I could run forever, but called it after 10 miles because I didn't want to over-exert myself. When I was pulling up at the house, though, the hubby was heading out for two miles, so I decided to join him for a little shakeout jog which felt great too. And then the hubby left Thursday morning for a photoshoot for a couple days so I decided to run after work on Thursday that way I didn't have to wake up at 4:15am. All of the runs felt strong this week. I think next week I'll do a bit of a cutback week and dial back the mileage a smidge before I try to increase it slowly again (35.25 miles this week, baby!)!
