Today is Day 9 of my #12DaysOfCarleesChristmas! And the prize today is pretty FAN-FREAKIN'-TASTIC! Although, to be honest, all of the prizes are AMAZEBALLS! If I could enter my own giveaways I'm pretty sure I would enter each and every one of them in this series because they are just that awesome.

If you know me, you know I love my sunnies. And let's just say, THE BRIGHTER, THE BETTER! #BangarangRufio

These are just a few of the pairs of sunnies I have around the house...

Confession: The majority of my sunglasses are freebies from race events (I literally think I only bought one of the pairs and they were maybe $15 from Target). Seeing as they're cheap, I don't worry about losing, scratching or breaking them. They're sort of like chapstick... They're a necessity, but I'm shocked if I can see 'em through till the end. So when I found out about the kick-butt brand (and local - YAY for San Diego companies), Knockaround, I knew I was SOLD!

As you can see from the pairs they sent, it's like they knew my style! I may have gasped when I opened the box (not only because of their kindness for sending me SIX pairs, but also because they were just so purrrrrty!). When I opened the package from Knockaround the hubby noticed how generous they were and asked which pair(s) he could have. I reluctantly offered him a single pair (but at least I was kind enough to give him first choice ;) #BestWifeAward).

Living in SoCal, we wear sunglasses the majority of the year (in case you didn't know, we occasionally have to deal with some sub-par weather - mostly "May Gray" and "June Gloom - but 90% of the year it's in the 60/70s and sunshiny). As opposed to the HIGH sunshine tax we're forced to pay, I see wearing sunnies as a small price to pay for paradise.

We have been rocking these sunnies for the past couple months and we each give them two thumbs up. I'd say on any given day, there's a 95% chance we are rocking Knockarounds. They've been used while hiking Half Dome, working out in the rain, walking with the pup, running to Yosemite Falls, lounging at the pool, racing and just living life. The hubby even recently ordered a pair of their prescription glasses and can't wait for them to arrive!

May Gray brought some drizzle during one of our runs. Wearing sunnies helped so I wasn't getting pelted in the eyes by the drops!

I think my favorite model are the Classics (I like the thicker arms, they seem to stay in place a little better while running) and the hubby loves the Polarized feature. The colors are AMAZEBALLS and the fact that you can customize your sunnies (you can get as cray-cray as you'd like) is FAN-FREAKIN'-TASTIC! The possibilities are literally ENDLESS!
